MESSAGE FROM THE TEAM
A Family of Winemakers
In 1911, businessman Petar Radonich became a U.S. citizen and was a known pillar of the mountain community who recorded books for the blind and led the Disabled American Veterans San Jose Chapter.
Petar’s sons, Brad and Randy have been business partners since childhood. They had their first paper route when they were age 9 and 11 and together, they worked their Dad’s Trucking Business for years before starting another successful venture in industrial services.
In 2007 they planted the first vines at Radonich Vineyards and have been working to produce estate-grown Pinot Noir and Chardonnay on the fertile land that has been in the family since 1919.
Now, the next generation, Lauren and Brad Jr. are learning the trade from the ground up to ensure longevity of the finest wines from the Santa Cruz mountains.
There are several factors that make our vineyards ideal for producing. At an elevation of 2,000 feet, and situated between the Pacific Ocean and the San Francisco Bay, the area’s cool coastal fog and breezes combined with maximum sunlight create the perfect growing conditions.
We are very proud of our estate grown and bottled Pinot Noir and Chardonnay.
